How does SofaShield™ protect my furniture?
SofaShield™ creates a textured protective layer over the areas your cat scratches most, helping reduce direct wear on the furniture underneath. Simply trim it to fit and apply it to the desired area.
How do I install SofaShield™?
Start with a clean, dry surface. Measure the area you want to protect, trim SofaShield™ to the desired size, peel away the backing, then press it firmly into place and smooth it down.
What surfaces can I use SofaShield™ on?
SofaShield™ can be used on many scratch-prone areas including sofa arms, chairs, walls, doors and cat furniture. Adhesion can vary depending on the material and surface texture, so we recommend testing a small area first when using it on delicate surfaces.
Can I cut SofaShield™ to fit my furniture?
Yes. SofaShield™ is designed to be trimmable, so you can cut it to better fit different furniture shapes, corners and scratch-prone areas.
Do I need the Extra Grip Tape?
Not necessarily. SofaShield™ already has a self-adhesive backing. The optional Extra Grip Tape is simply available for customers who want added hold on tricky or high-use surfaces.
Which size should I choose?
Measure the area you want to protect and choose a size that gives you enough coverage. Since SofaShield™ can be trimmed, choosing a slightly larger size can give you more flexibility for a custom fit.
